Sept 11 Daily Photo Blog

Today is a simple picture that I took in 06.  I felt it was fitting for today.  Although it has been 8 years since our country was attacked, I still feel a great sense of pride in our country.  I know that day is still fresh in everyone’s mind and hope that you are proudly sporting your red, white and blue today.

I hope you will take a moment of silence today for those that were lost and for those whose lives were changed forever on that day.

Have a good weekend all!

I lived in Lower Manhattan on 9/11 (about 3/4 of a mile from the WTC) and that’s a day I am not forgetting in a while. Especially the fighter planes and the smell and the ash and the seeing people jump out of windows. In some ways it seems so long ago now and in others, like yesterday.

Still, I’ve moved on. Everyone should. We should remember and learn and move on. 🙂

I’m Rockin’ my Red, White and Blue today and I’m actually shocked that more people aren’t!

about moi…

Hi, my name is Cass. I am married to an amazing man who loves me unconditionally. I’m a stay at home mom to a rockin’ 2 year old boy who I call Monkey. I have an 12 year old step-daughter who lives in another state. We miss her daily. We also have two fur babies, Daisy and Jazz, who keep us on our toes. They are awesome!

I am a complete goofball, a photographer and a constant out loud thinker. I am a grammar challenged, vulgar, cursing, sex obsessed Big Mama fumbling through life. Among other things, I battle PCOS causing infertility, Bi Polar, Anxiety and OCD.

Currently I am riding the fertility roller coaster in an attempt to make Monkey #2. This blog is about a little of everything. I hope you enjoy. Read at your own risk!
